Cardiac Telemetry Nurse Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Cardiac Telemetry Nurse to join our team at Research Medical Center. As a Cardiac Telemetry Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to our hospital's mission of delivering exceptional healthcare services.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to work in a comprehensive stoke/stemi facility, caring for patients recovering from open heart surgeries, heart catheterization with stent placement, ablations, pace maker/AICD placement, cardiovascular surgeries, and more. Our Cardiac Telemetry unit is a 29-bed unit, specializing in the care of cardiac patients, and we are committed to providing the best evidenced-based care.

Responsibilities
  • Assess acute changes in patients and monitor and analyze heart rhythms
  • Interpret ECGs, note arrhythmias, and intervene in emergency situations
  • Provide high-level critical thinking skills and vast clinical knowledge to stay calm under pressure
  • Collaborate with cardiology providers to ensure the best care for cardiac patients

Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing
  • Current state of Missouri RN licensure required
  • Excellent oral/written communication, interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills required
  • BLS certification required at hire and maintained
  • ACLS required within 6 months
