Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Telemetry team. As a Cardiac Care Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing acute changes in patients, monitoring and analyzing heart rhythms, and intervening in emergency situations. You will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to provide high-level critical care to patients recovering from open heart surgeries, heart catheterization, and other cardiovascular procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Assess and monitor patients' cardiac conditions, identifying potential complications and taking appropriate action
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet patients' unique needs
  • Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure evidence-based care
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing
  • Current state of Missouri RN licensure
  • Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills
  • BLS certification required at hire and maintained
  • ACLS certification required within 6 months
  • Previous clinical experience preferred
