About the Job:

Tetra Tech is seeking a skilled Construction Technician to join our team. As a Construction Technician, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment, performing site preparation, and assisting other craft workers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain construction equipment and machines.
  • Assist other equipment operators, carpenters, and other skilled labor when necessary.
  • Prepare construction/remediation sites by cleaning obstacles and hazards.
  • Load or unload construction materials and debris.
  • Assemble and disassemble temporary structures and apparatuses in support of construction and remediation tasks.
  • Remove, fill, transport, or compact earth.
  • Follow instructions from supervisors.
  • Assist craft workers.
  • Perform site clean-up.

Requirements:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • 2 years of experience in the construction and remediation industry, preferred.
  • Valid driver's license in good standing.
  • Commercial Class A License preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years with operating construction equipment.
  • Be at least 18 years of age.
  • Workers must be punctual and reliable.
