Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Team Lead to join our team at Balfour Beatty US. As an Administrative Team Lead, you will be responsible for managing and supervising assigned administrative staff to provide an efficient team to support project completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise assigned administrative staff to ensure efficient team performance.
  • Prepare or direct the preparation of payroll, accounts payable, reconciliations, back charges, and field invoices.
  • Direct all personnel administration activities, including recruiting, new hire sign-up, employee orientation, policy and procedure interpretation, and terminations.
  • Direct the purchasing of expendable materials and small tools as required and approved by project manager.
  • Provide support for other departments on assigned projects to assist in their administrative needs.
  • Prepare and maintain various cost and statistical reports to support project construction activity.
  • Monitor project budgets and provide field management with progress reports and updates.

Requirements

Educational and experience requirements include a four-year business/accounting degree plus a minimum of four years construction office management experience or equivalent combinations of training and experience.

Extensive knowledge of standard accounting procedures, company policies and procedures, purchasing and receiving procedures, cost control, and office administration is required. Proficient communication and organizational skills are essential.
