Job Title: Renewable Energy Construction Manager

Overview:

As a Renewable Energy Construction Manager at Wanzek Construction, you will be responsible for directing, planning, and managing construction activities on job sites with activities to be completed within assigned schedules and budgets. You will ensure compliance with Company safety and procedural policies. This role will involve supervising construction workers and foremen, carrying out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws, and evaluating project performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Promote and comply with all Company and safety policies and procedures
  • Supervise construction workers and foremen
  • Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws
  • Evaluate project performance
  • Ensure schedules are maintained accurately to measure time, production to meet timelines and requirements
  • Ensure project is completed by deadline date
  • Study, communicate, and improve on productivity analysis provided by Project Manager
  • Maintain and enforce discipline throughout the jobsite
  • Communicate effectively in both oral and written form to large employee groups, owners, or engineers
  • Interview, hire, and train direct reports, plan, assign, and direct work, appraise performance; reward and discipline employees, address complaints, and resolve problems

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Five years of construction industry experience/knowledge of construction techniques, estimating, and construction management
  • Previous experience in a supervisory role
