Custom Framing Sales Specialist

Role Overview:
As a key member of our team, you will guide and mentor a group of framers dedicated to fostering customer connections while delivering tailored framing solutions for their artwork. Your leadership will drive custom framing sales and enhance the customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Store Manager in ensuring compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company initiatives, maintaining adherence to relevant laws and standards.
  • Develop and mentor team members in effective selling techniques.
  • Oversee the timely delivery of high-quality custom framing solutions by collaborating with the Store Manager to plan workloads.
  • Meet and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) for both yourself and the framing team.
  • Analyze sales and production tasks, creating plans for effective networking on the sales floor.
  • Implement and manage inventory control processes as assigned.
  • Execute shrink and safety programs effectively.
  • Act as Manager on Duty (MOD) as needed.
  • Assist in the recruitment, onboarding, coaching, and training of new team members; engage in talent development activities and performance management.
  • Collaborate daily with MODs to ensure expectations for framing and team performance are met.
  • Maintain a positive and respectful interaction with customers and team members, embodying the organization's vision and values.
  • Participate in unloading and stocking processes to meet operational standards.
  • Adhere to SOPs and company programs to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Provide assistance to customers in locating products and offering solutions.
  • Support omni-channel processes as required.
Additional Duties:
Perform other responsibilities as assigned.

Required Experience:
  • Basic computer proficiency.
Preferred Experience:
  • Prior experience in custom framing.
  • Background in retail management.
  • Experience in leading a sales team.
Physical Requirements:
  • Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching.
  • Ability to navigate throughout the store.
  • Capability to stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift heavy items and access high shelves using ladders or similar equipment.

Work Environment:
  • Retail setting focused on customer service; public areas are climate-controlled, while some stock areas may not be; outdoor tasks may include retrieving shopping carts or unloading trucks; the framing shop contains specialized equipment; work hours may include evenings, weekends, and early mornings.
