Role Overview:
As a key member of our team, you will guide and mentor a group of framers dedicated to enhancing customer connections while crafting tailored framing solutions for their artwork. Your primary focus will be to drive sales in custom framing and assist clients in creating unforgettable presentations for their pieces.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Store Manager in overseeing compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company initiatives to meet legal and operational standards; ensure the team adheres to company policies and performance metrics.
- Develop and enhance the sales techniques of the team.
- Ensure timely delivery of premium custom framing solutions by effectively planning workloads in collaboration with the Store Manager.
- Meet your Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and guide the framing team to achieve their respective targets.
- Analyze sales and production tasks to create actionable plans and optimize time spent on the sales floor.
- Oversee inventory management processes as assigned.
- Implement shrinkage and safety protocols.
- Act as Manager on Duty (MOD) as needed.
- Assist in the recruitment, onboarding, coaching, and training of new team members; engage in talent development and performance management activities.
- Collaborate daily with MODs to align on framing expectations and team performance.
- Foster a respectful and positive work environment, promoting commitment to the organization's vision and values.
- Participate in the unloading and stocking processes to maintain truck standards.
- Adhere to SOPs and company programs to ensure a safe workplace.
- Engage with customers, assisting them in locating products and providing effective solutions.
- Support omni-channel processes as required.
Other duties may be assigned as necessary.
Experience Requirements:
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Prior experience in custom framing is advantageous.
- Experience in retail management.
- Background in leading a sales team.
- Regularly bend, lift, carry, reach, and stretch.
- Ability to navigate throughout the store.
- Capability to stand for extended periods.
- Lift heavy items and access high shelves using ladders or similar equipment.

- Work in a public retail setting focused on customer service; all public areas are climate-controlled, though some stock rooms may not be; outdoor tasks may include retrieving shopping carts or unloading trucks; the frame shop includes equipment such as glass cutters and heat presses; work hours may include evenings, weekends, and early mornings.
