Position Summary:
MV Transportation is seeking a qualified Mechanic Level A to join our dedicated team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct preventative maintenance, diagnosis, service, and repair of various vehicle systems including steering, suspension, brakes, engines, transmissions, differentials, electrical systems, wheelchair lifts, and air conditioning.
- Ensure safety and efficiency by performing thorough inspections and part analysis on damaged components.
- Assist in inventory management and other related tasks as needed.

Essential Duties Include:
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting vehicle issues to identify the root causes of operational failures.
- Performing scheduled maintenance on fleet vehicles.
- Executing both major and minor repairs on defective vehicle components.
- Documenting all maintenance activities in MV's Fleet Management System.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of five (5) years of verifiable training and experience in automotive or diesel mechanics, which may include high school mechanics courses and/or a regional occupational program.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and random drug tests.
- Must be able to obtain a CDL Class B with Passenger and Airbrake endorsements.
Starting Pay Rate: $38.98/hour
