Job Summary

MV Transportation is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance, diagnosing and repairing complex vehicle systems, and ensuring our fleet is in top working condition.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair complex vehicle systems, including steering, suspension, brakes, engines, transmissions, and electrical systems.
  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on vehicles to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
  • Document all activities in MV's Fleet Management System.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Combination of at least two to three years of apprentice-level training and experience in automotive or diesel mechanics.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and random drug testing.
