Key Responsibilities:- Lead the development of software modules for Navy sensor systems, guiding and mentoring a team of software professionals.
- Design, implement, and test embedded and GUI software for system control and data processing, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.

- Minimum 10 years of software development experience, including embedded systems development.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science.
- C++ and embedded development experience.
- Collaborative team leadership experience.
- Customer communication/presentation skills.
- Linux systems-level knowledge and C++ programming.
- VS Code cross-platform development.
- Experience with imaging systems and inertial navigation systems.
- DMA drivers.
- Embedded Zynq FPGA development.

The salary range for this role is $140,000 to $185,000. Arete considers several factors when extending an offer of employment, including but not limited to: the position and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills.
U.S. citizenship is required to meet position eligibility. Selected applicants will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Successful passage of a criminal background screen is required to meet position eligibility. Successful passage of a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug test is required to meet position eligibility.
