Key Responsibilities:

Customer Engagement - Actively connect with customers. - Inquire about their needs and listen attentively. - Guide customers to products, inform them about promotions, and encourage participation in our loyalty programs. - Deliver outstanding customer service. - Foster positive, inclusive relationships and take responsibility for your actions.
Organization - Ensure the checkout area is tidy and presentable. - Manage and restock supplies as needed.
Sales - Interact with customers to ensure they find everything they are looking for. - Offer suggestions based on current trends and promotions tailored to individual customer needs.

- Operate the Point-of-Sale system, handling cash transactions, discounts, gift cards, and credit/debit card processing, including accurate change returns.

- Maintain cash drawers and manage sales documentation.

Inventory Management - Oversee merchandise and ensure accurate inventory processes.

Participate in regular inventory checks as required.
Dependability - Adhere to your scheduled shifts and complete all assigned tasks thoroughly.

Qualifications: - Product Knowledge - Familiarity with Point-of-Sale systems is beneficial. Experience - Previous retail or relevant experience is preferred but not mandatory.
Communication Skills - Strong interpersonal and communication abilities. Proficient in reading, writing, and interpreting instructions, safety guidelines, and operational procedures. Capable of effective communication with customers, colleagues, and management.
Mathematical Skills - Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Ability to use a calculator and compute percentages. Must be able to provide change in U.S. currency.
Reasoning Ability - Ability to manage multiple tasks while remaining attentive to customer needs and adaptable to business requirements. Capability to work collaboratively in a team and take initiative when necessary.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment: This role involves continuous movement, communication, and standing for extended periods. Occasional bending, kneeling, and climbing may be required. Vision requirements include close vision and depth perception. The position may involve lifting items weighing between 25 lbs. and 50 lbs. Work is primarily indoors, with some outdoor assignments possible.

Additional Skills: A friendly, enthusiastic, and energetic attitude with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.

Work Schedule: Must be available to work various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

No prior experience is necessary. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
