Dynamic Opportunity: Customized Faculty Role for a Committed Family Medicine Physician
The Family Medicine Residency program at CentraCare is seeking a dedicated physician who is eager to influence the education of future healthcare professionals. This position can be tailored to match the unique skills and interests of the ideal candidate, whether your focus lies in patient care, educational mentorship, or program innovation.
Available Role Options:
- Core Faculty (0.7 to 1 FTE)
- Resident Mentorship: Participate in the education and supervision of residents in both clinical and hospital settings (40% of time).
- Clinical Responsibilities: Deliver patient care in our residency clinic, emphasizing maternity services (40% of time).
- Program Administration & Curriculum Design: Dedicate time to administrative duties and the development of educational programs (20% of time).
- Inpatient Core Faculty (1 FTE)
- Resident Mentorship: Act as a hospitalist, mentoring residents during their hospital rotations (80% of time).
- Program Administration & Curriculum Design: Allocate time for administrative responsibilities and curriculum enhancement (20% of time).
- Part-Time Resident Mentorship
- Resident Mentorship: Engage in the education and supervision of residents in various settings.
- Flexible Clinical Practice: Maintain an independent clinical practice or collaborate with CentraCare clinics.
- Additional Opportunities: Potential involvement in inpatient and/or maternity call duties.
