Job Summary:
CentraCare is seeking a skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our Integrated Behavioral Health team at our Family Medicine clinic in Sartell, MN. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals and families with behavioral health and medical needs.
Responsibilities:
- Provide diagnostic, psychological, or biopsychosocial evaluation and execute therapeutic treatment toward defined goals for patients and families across a life span (ages 0-100+).
- Work collaboratively with CentraCare's Family Medicine clinic to provide brief intervention services and strengthen motivation and commitment to specific change goals through a collaborative, goal-oriented style of communication.
- Utilize evidence-based psychotherapy, including Motivational Interviewing, Focused Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (FACT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), to support patients in achieving their goals.
- Assist in staff development through consultation, education, and supervision, as well as contribute to program development when requested.
- Support Family Medicine resident physicians in their training and provide triage and intervention services for urgent needs from community members.
Requirements:
- PhD or PsyD in Clinical or Counseling Psychology required.
- Minimum of one year of experience in outpatient assessment, medical knowledge, crisis intervention skills, and psychotherapy.
- Knowledge and/or experience in behavioral health within a healthcare setting preferred.
- Licensure by the State of Minnesota Board of Psychology as a Licensed Psychologist (LP) required.
