Job Summary

The Maintenance Supervisor oversees the physical operation and maintenance of production equipment, facilities, and utilities at Stonewall Kitchen LLC. This role schedules and coordinates projects and duties for direct reports and outside entities, oversees maintenance and repair work, and collaborates on projects as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the safe behavior of all direct reports and promote safety stewardship throughout the organization.
  • Participate in the Safety Committee and follow all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Champion a culture of Continuous Improvement and make suggestions regarding staffing, operational issues, and department-related matters.
  • Manage, train, coach, and develop staff of Mechanics to maintain production equipment and meet service, cost, efficiency, safety, and food safety objectives.
  • Manage, train, coach, and develop staff of Facilities Attendants to support emergent needs of infrastructure equipment, buildings, and property.
  • Manage and coordinate relationships with external resources, contractors, and regulatory bodies to achieve business objectives related to maintenance and facilities.
  • Manage and maintain preventative maintenance programs and inspections for all areas under management.
  • Schedule and manage utilities related to Retail stores, including starting and stopping of electricity, gas, water, sewer, etc.
  • Manage a spare parts and supplies system for all areas under management.
  • Coordinate activities through various company work order systems.
  • Prepare budgets and work scopes for maintenance activities and maintain appropriate records.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma. Bachelor's Degree Preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience, with demonstrated strong aptitude in mechanical system functioning.
  • Attention to detail and ability to develop and maintain systems, files, and records.
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office preferred).
  • Strong oral and written communication skills to interact effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs on a regular basis daily.
  • This position requires ability to stand, move about in cramped or otherwise hard-to-access areas, including frequent use of stairs/ladders, for extended periods of time.
  • Occasionally work after hours or weekends as situations dictate.
  • May be required to work excess of 40 hrs per week as business needs require.
