Position: Client Services Representative (Healthcare)

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM EST

Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated individual with a background in customer service and familiarity with medical terminology. Experience in the healthcare sector is advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to and resolve inquiries from customers or potential clients promptly and courteously.
  • Utilize appropriate telephone etiquette and available resources to handle incoming requests and complaints effectively.
  • Diagnose issues and follow up with clients on unresolved matters.
  • Maintain accurate records and complete all necessary documentation related to customer interactions.
  • Communicate laboratory results to clients and patients following established protocols.
  • Ensure timely resolution of all client concerns and issues.
  • Educate clients on laboratory processes and provide guidance as needed.
  • Escalate issues to supervisors when necessary to keep them informed of client concerns.
  • Perform additional duties as required to meet business needs.
Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum of one year of experience in customer service or related healthcare roles.
  • Proficient understanding of medical terminology is essential.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills are necessary.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in the healthcare industry is preferred.
Physical and Mental Requirements:
  • Ability to sit for extended periods.
  • Repetitive motions may include typing and use of hands.
Knowledge and Skills:
  • Understanding of proper telephone etiquette for customer interactions.
  • Basic proficiency in operating office equipment.
  • Awareness of quality service standards and their measurement.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with clients and colleagues.
  • Competence in basic computer applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Capability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Good listening skills and the ability to maintain professionalism in challenging situations.
  • Commitment to confidentiality when handling client information.
Education:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
