Job Summary

Geisinger Health System is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) team. As a PICU RN, you will provide high-quality patient care to critically ill children, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Assess and manage the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of pediatric patients and their families
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, incorporating evidence-based practices and family-centered care principles
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and achieve optimal results
  • Provide education and support to patients and families, promoting health literacy and self-advocacy
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of best practices and policies
