The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) is a key member of our healthcare team, responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the ambulatory setting. As an LVN, you will work closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Assist in the collection of subjective and objective data to identify patient needs and develop a comprehensive plan of care.
- Conduct psychosocial assessments using active listening, verbal communication, and non-verbal communication to understand patient concerns and preferences.
- Contribute to the development of the patient plan of care and implement, under the direction of a physician, AHP, or RN, only those parts of the plan of care that are within the LVN scope of practice.
- Prior nursing experience in an ambulatory care environment is preferred.
- Current California LVN License with IV Certification is required.
- Current BLS for Healthcare Providers is required.
