Licensed Vocational Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our team at Children's Clinic in Long Beach, CA.
About the Role:The Licensed Vocational Nurse will provide high-quality patient care by assisting Clinic Providers with treatments, procedures, and clerical duties. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:- Provide safe patient care by assisting Clinic Providers with treatments, procedures, and clerical duties.
- Document patient history within the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
- Refill medication requests and obtain prior authorizations as needed.
- Participate in case management and patient education.
- Administer vaccines and oversee the weekly medical assistant schedule.
- Manage mail and fax correspondence to ensure timely completion.
- Fill out forms and forward to providers as necessary.
- Completion of high school or equivalent.
- Completion of vocational school and LVN training.
- Current license to practice as an LVN in the State of California.
- Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written English.
- CPR/BLS certification.
- Phlebotomy certificate.
- Minimum of one year of experience in an outpatient setting.
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Practice Management Systems.
