Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled RN Tech II to join our team at South Central Regional Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support our nursing staff in delivering exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide patient care by collecting, monitoring, and reporting information and responding to basic needs
  • Promote patient engagement by considering specific needs, values, and preferences
  • Promote continuity of care by reporting activities, incidents, and changing patient needs to next caregiver
  • Demonstrate infection prevention behaviors, consistent hand washing, and use of appropriate PPEs
  • Recognize safety risks and communicate to RN/LPN regarding falls, skin breakdown, and injury
Requirements
  • CPR Certification
  • Accu-chek Preventive skin care
  • Aseptic wound care/dressing change
  • Phlebotomy and Foley insertion/care (postponed until student/employee has reached RN Tech II or at the discretion of the director based on employee performance)
Interaction Skills
  • Effectively communicate verbally and in writing
  • Ability to provide instructions and education
