About Us

LATIN AMERICAN YOUTH CENTER (LAYC) has been empowering at-risk youth and their families for over 40 years. Our mission is to empower a diverse population of youth to achieve a successful transition to adulthood, through multicultural, comprehensive, and innovative programs that address youths' social, academic, and career needs.

Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year

This position requires a skilled and passionate individual who can work effectively with diverse populations and build strong relationships with community partners. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to prioritize multiple tasks, and demonstrate a commitment to the mission of LAYC/MMYC.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Attend community meetings and events to promote the Prevention Center and identify opportunities for collaboration and partnership.
  • Conduct technical assistance and training for networks to increase their capacity to create community change in regard to substance abuse.
  • Develop and maintain resources and strong working relationships with networks and other agencies within the community.
