About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our team at Independence Village of Oxford. As a Dishwasher, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Wash and unload dishes, pots, pans, silverware, china, utensils, and equipment in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Stock soap, towels, and paper products throughout the kitchen to ensure a well-stocked and organized environment.
  • Perform daily or scheduled cleaning duties in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • May be required to scrub and mop floors, clean and sanitize equipment and work areas.
  • Consistently maintain a positive attitude and support a team environment with other Dishwashers and the culinary team.
  • Promote positive public relations with residents, family members, and guests.
Requirements
  • Prior restaurant or dishwashing experience is preferred, but not required.
  • Must be friendly, display a positive attitude, and have good teamwork skills.
  • Good communication skills are required.
Working Conditions

This position entails standing for long periods of time. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to communicate effectively with others, sit, stand, walk, and use hands to handle equipment and objects. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms. This position requires the ability to review detailed documents and read computer screens. The employee will occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The work environment requires appropriate interaction with others. The noise level in the work environment is moderate.
