We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at University Hospitals. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our surgical teams.
Key Responsibilities- Provide safe and efficient patient care, utilizing nursing interventions to assist patients in achieving optimal health status.
- Assist with technical responsibilities in assigned operative procedures, ensuring the availability and proper functioning of instruments and supplies.
- Support the operative team by following patient care hand-off protocols and actively participating in quality improvement initiatives.
- Perform other duties as assigned, while maintaining compliance with all policies and standards.
- Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients.
- Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct, and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace.
