Join our leading healthcare facility in New Concord, Ohio, as an Ultrasound Technologist. We're seeking skilled professionals to perform a wide range of diagnostic ultrasound examinations in our state-of-the-art hospital setting. Job Responsibilities:
Perform various ultrasound examinations including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, small parts, retroperitoneal, carotid duplex, and venous scans
Assist in minor surgical/invasive procedures such as cyst aspiration, thoracentesis, amniocentesis, and biopsies
Select appropriate technical factors and position patients for optimal imaging results
Educate patients about examination procedures and expectations
Maintain accurate records of procedures and patient information
Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals
Adhere to safety protocols and universal precautions
Job Requirements:
Graduation from an accredited ultrasound program
ARDMS registration preferred; registry-eligible candidates will be considered
Strong knowledge of ultrasound physics and instrumentation
Excellent patient care and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and assist with patient positioning
