About the Role

We are seeking a talented Physician to join our exceptional Hospitalist team at Optum Washington. As a Hospitalist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional patient care as a Hospitalist, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.
  • Collaborate with subspecialists, pharmacists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices in patient care.
  • Work closely with our Epic EMR system to ensure accurate and timely documentation.
Requirements
  • Unrestricted WA State Medical License
  • Current WA DEA certificate
  • Board Certified Internal Medicine
  • EMR proficient
  • Proven positive attitude and solid work ethic
  • Proven self-starter with ability to practice with a high degree of independence
  • Proven solid verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work both shifts on a full-time basis
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1+ years of experience
  • Managed Care and Medi-Cal experience
