Position Responsibilities

The Senior Consultant will be instrumental in guiding clients through various initiatives that necessitate Business Process Reengineering (BPR) and change management methodologies. Your expertise will be essential in evaluating the effects of changes on business processes and in formulating a detailed transformation strategy that encompasses mission, vision, objectives, service delivery principles, and value drivers.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Conducting BPR evaluations, interviews, and focus group discussions.
  • Overseeing project timelines and crafting client deliverables.
  • Supporting client project phases from initiation to completion, monitoring timelines, capturing updates, leading knowledge transfer, facilitating discussions, and developing frameworks for effective solutions.
  • Gathering and analyzing both quantitative and qualitative data through research, interviews, surveys, and observations.
  • Creating standard operating procedures and workflows, while assessing the current state of client operations and recommending best practice alternatives for future improvements.
  • Identifying and documenting critical insights from client interactions and data analysis to propose enhancements for organizational performance.
  • Facilitating discussions with clients, leading stakeholder interviews, and preparing comprehensive client deliverables.
  • Contributing to the formulation of strategic communications and campaign initiatives.
  • Building enduring relationships with clients, assisting them in dissecting and resolving challenges.
  • Leading and supporting stakeholder engagement activities.
  • Providing project management assistance, including managing resource allocation spreadsheets, refining project plans with senior consultants, conducting quality control reviews on deliverables, and preparing status reports for clients.

Qualifications:

  • Active Top Secret clearance, with TS/SCI preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 8+ years of experience in federal consulting, with a focus on organizational management, BPR, strategic planning, change management, and facilitation.
  • Willingness to travel to client locations as necessary.
  • Strong analytical skills to synthesize findings from large data sets and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Experience in developing standard operating procedures and process workflows.
  • Ability to cultivate strong working relationships and collaborate effectively with individuals at various levels.
  • Capability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality outputs under tight deadlines.
  • Experience collaborating with senior executives.
  • Proficiency in administrative tasks, including tracking actions and facilitating meetings to enhance program effectiveness.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate information clearly and create compelling documents.
  • Ability to develop presentations and work products using Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Capacity to collaborate effectively with clients and the Rockwood team, while also working independently as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Lean Six Sigma certification.
  • Human-Centered Design certification.
  • Experience implementing industry best practices.
  • Certifications in Strategy, Change Management, Process Improvement, Communications, or Performance Management.
  • Experience in leading and facilitating group discussions.
