Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Door Service Manager to join our team at DH Pace Company. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our commercial door service department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Departmental Leadership: Supervise and manage a team of service technicians to ensure efficient and effective delivery of services to our customers.
  • Scheduling and Planning: Plan, manage, and implement schedules to meet daily customer commitments and ensure that the plan is properly executed.
  • Workload Management: Review workload and manpower to meet customer commitments in a cost-effective manner.
  • Project Management: Ensure that projects are completed timely, below budget, and to the satisfaction of the customer.
  • Financial Management: Review monthly financial/operational reports and work with front-line managers to develop action plans to improve.
  • Performance Management: Improve individual performance of the field force you manage through daily, monthly, and yearly performance reviews.
  • Training and Development: Assist with hiring, training, and developing new employees.

Requirements

  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree, highly preferred, and a minimum of three (3) years of experience managing personnel; an equivalent combination of education and experience can be considered.
  • Customer Service: Responsible for communicating with customers to ensure satisfaction levels consistently exceed expectations.
  • Technical Skills: Possess an ability for technical applications and mechanical systems.
  • Driver's License: Must possess a valid driver's license and good driving record.
