Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Coffee Bar Manager to oversee our beverage operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in restaurant management and will be responsible for all aspects of food and beverage operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and inventory management, while driving sales and enhancing revenue.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Employee Management:
    • Recruitment, training, and performance evaluation of staff.
    • Facilitate ongoing education for team members through daily briefings.
    • Supervise staff during service to ensure quality and efficiency.
    • Create and manage staff schedules effectively.
    • Address and mediate employee concerns professionally.
  • Operational Oversight:
    • Coordinate and manage the venue's operations during service hours, ensuring smooth workflow.
    • Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues with professionalism.
    • Uphold service standards as outlined in company guidelines.
    • Maintain open communication with kitchen staff and collaborate on menu offerings.
  • Promotional Activities:
    • Assist in promotional initiatives and operational adjustments.
    • Manage logistics for internal catering functions.
    • Support special event planning and execution.
    • Accommodate unique requests as directed.

Qualifications:

  • 4-5 years of experience in hospitality management.
  • Combination of relevant education and practical experience.
  • Proficient in management software, including Word and Excel.
  • Familiarity with health department regulations.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to motivate and foster teamwork among staff.
  • Experience in restaurant management is essential.
  • Possess a Food Handler's Certificate.
  • Experience in catering and concession management is advantageous.

Location: Manhattan

Compensation: $30.00/hour
