Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to lead our water and wastewater projects in the El Paso region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and delivering complex projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of water and wastewater projects in the El Paso region.
  • Provide technical guidance and leadership to engineering staff to enhance our water services design capabilities.
  • Develop and manage project scope, schedules, and budgets, ensuring adherence to project requirements.
  • Conduct Quality Assurance/Quality Control of key deliverables and assist on projects managed by others in the office.
  • Collaborate with Client Service Leaders to develop and implement technical marketing strategies for municipal clients in the El Paso region.
  • Participate in professional societies relevant to the industry and maintain positive working relationships with key decision makers in our clients' organizations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in civil, environmental, or chemical engineering or a related discipline.
  • 10 years of related experience, with PMP (PMI), CCM, or DBIA certification required within 12 months of hire or promotion onto the Approved Project Manager list.
  • Domestic and/or international travel may be required, contingent on specific duties and project demands.
  • Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Professional engineering (PE) license.
  • Previous experience working on and managing projects for municipal water resources, wastewater, drinking water, and conveyance clients.
  • Previous experience managing multi-discipline project teams.
  • Excellent communication, networking, and team building skills.
  • Previous experience working directly with clients.
