About the Role:

Lakeview Center is seeking a skilled Outpatient Counselor I to provide therapeutic services to clients within the scope of their training, protocols, and competence. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, rehabilitation, or a related human services field, and at least two years' experience working with adolescents and/or adults who have mental health, substance abuse, and/or co-occurring disorders or developmental disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, treat, and manage client risk and safety
  • Develop and implement person-centered treatment plans
  • Provide individualized, integrated mental health, substance abuse, and co-occurring services
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • At least two years' experience working with adolescents and/or adults with mental health, substance abuse, and/or co-occurring disorders
  • Ability to pass organization screening requirements, including state or federal background screenings
