Job Overview

ProSidian Consulting, LLC seeks a skilled Certified Medical Assistant to provide high-quality patient care and support services to clients in the Energy, Resources, and Industrials sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Personal Assistance Services (PAS) to clients with targeted disabilities, including assistance with daily living activities, mobility support, and specialized support such as reader services and sighted guidance.
  • Ensure that PAS provided aligns with federal regulations, including the ADA and the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, and maintain a high level of professionalism, confidentiality, and sensitivity to client needs.
  • Coordinate with the client's Human Capital team and other relevant departments to address emerging needs promptly, whether on-site or at the client's telework location.
  • Provide guidance and training to clients on the use of assistive technologies, such as ZoomText and JAWS, and ensure that clients are proficient in using these tools.
Requirements
  • Certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) from an accredited organization such as the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA).
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience working in a clinical or healthcare setting, preferably in roles that involve direct patient care and administrative responsibilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare technical reports, presentations, and documentation.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain medical procedures and care instructions to clients in a clear and compassionate manner.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team, coordinating with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with clients with disabilities, including those with targeted disabilities.
  • Knowledge of assistive technologies and their applications in patient care.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
