Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse, including vital sign collection, wound care, and other nursing tasks.
  • Assist with maintaining a clean and safe environment, including restocking supplies and performing routine cleaning tasks.
  • Support departmental operations by providing effective communication, maintaining accurate records, and performing administrative tasks as needed.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care and efficient departmental operations.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; four years of nursing assistant experience may be accepted in lieu of a high school diploma.
  • Current licensure as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of Maryland.
  • BLS certification (American Heart Association).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 25 pounds, with frequent standing, walking, and bending.
