About the Opportunity

Vermont Law and Graduate School, a national leader in environmental law and restorative justice, invites applications for multiple tenure-track faculty positions. We seek candidates with expertise in water law, land use, sustainability, private governance, and environmental justice to join our faculty team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach required JD and upper-level JD courses, including Income Tax, Estates, and Environmental Law
  • Contribute to the development of innovative and engaging residential and online courses
  • Engage in scholarly research and publication
  • Provide service to the institution and engage with the public to contribute to the intellectual exchange of ideas and improve the law
Requirements
  • Applicants must have a strong academic background and a demonstrated commitment to teaching and research
  • Experience in teaching and research in environmental law and related fields is highly desirable
  • Candidates should demonstrate a strong potential for scholarly achievement and innovative teaching
