Responsibilities
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • EPA certification required
  • Certification from an accredited vocational-technical or trade school a plus
  • Minimum 3-4 years of commercial HVAC/R experience required
  • Experience working on light commercial HVAC/R equipment in convenience stores or supermarkets a strong plus
  • Familiarity with single systems and rack systems, as well as previous work on display cases and walk-in boxes, is very helpful
  • Must have a good driving record and be able to work independently
  • Emergency on-call availability is a basic requirement
  • Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs. with no assistance and also be able to sit and/or stand for several hours at a time
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience with commercial HVAC/R installation
  • Ability to work on equipment
  • Ability to troubleshoot, test, and balance systems
  • Valid driver's license
  • Active EPA certification
  • Excellent customer relations and interpersonal skills
  • Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., safely climb and balance on a ladder, and work in elevated/high locations
