Responsibilities
  • Repair and overhaul equipment, such as compressors, water pumps, air handlers, and electrical and mechanical control devices
  • Provide general repair work on refrigeration, heating, and ventilation equipment, including air conditioning units, evaporative condensers, ice machine equipment, and gas furnaces
  • Perform preventative maintenance activities, diagnosing equipment malfunctions and operating deficiencies
  • Test malfunctioning systems and components using electrical and mechanical skills
  • Maintain accurate records of work history and process job tickets and work orders in a timely manner
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience with commercial HVAC and refrigeration installation
  • Ability to work on equipment, troubleshoot, test, and balance systems
  • Valid driver's license and active EPA certification
  • Excellent customer relations and interpersonal skills
  • Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
