Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and strategic Marketing Manager to lead the marketing efforts for our growing solar company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in social media content creation, small business marketing, event management, and team leadership, with a passion for renewable energy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Execute Marketing Strategies: With the CEO, create and then implement comprehensive marketing plans aligned with company goals, focusing on brand awareness, lead generation, and customer engagement.
  • Social Media Content Management: Lead the development and execution of social media content strategies across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.), including content creation, scheduling, and performance tracking.
  • Event Management: Plan and execute company events such as trade shows, community outreach programs, webinars, and product launches to promote the brand and engage with customers and industry professionals.
  • Team Management: Lead, mentor, and manage the marketing team, ensuring alignment with company objectives, providing support, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Consultant Management: Oversee relationships with marketing consultants and agencies to ensure campaigns and events are executed on time and within budget.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and customer needs to adjust marketing tactics and strategies accordingly.
  • Campaign Management: Plan, execute, and track multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital, email, traditional marketing efforts, and events.
  • Content Creation & Copywriting: Support the development of engaging, high-quality marketing materials, including blog posts, email newsletters, case studies, and promotional materials.
  • Performance Analysis: Support the tracking and analysis of key performance metrics to evaluate the success of marketing campaigns, team performance, and events, making data-driven recommendations for improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of marketing experience, preferably within the solar or renewable energy industry.
  • Proven track record in developing and managing social media campaigns.
  • Experience in event management, including trade shows, corporate events, and webinars.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in managing and mentoring a team.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, events, and deadlines.
  • Experience in managing external consultants and agencies.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools, including Google Analytics, SEO, SEM, and email marketing platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess campaign, team, and event performance and ROI.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Passion for sustainability and renewable energy.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in marketing for a small business or startup.
  • Knowledge of solar energy products and services.
  • Graphic design skills or familiarity with design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
