POSITION: COMMUNITY MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR
As a Community Maintenance Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing maintenance operations within our properties. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting inspections and coordinating maintenance activities.
- Preparing vacant units for leasing and ensuring the community's aesthetic appeal.
- Managing inventory and executing preventative maintenance tasks.
- Supporting initiatives aimed at reducing costs and enhancing operational efficiency.
- Leading safety meetings and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Exceptional customer service skills are essential, as you will assist in budget planning for repairs and maintenance while interacting with residents and team members.
KEY SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Possession of personal hand tools and proficiency in their safe usage.
- Ability to apply logical reasoning to effectively resolve issues.
- Strong communication skills to interact courteously with residents and colleagues.
- Proficient written communication skills for internal and external correspondence.
- Familiarity with internet usage, word processing, spreadsheets, and property management software.
- Basic office equipment operation skills.
- Mathematical aptitude for financial and budgeting tasks.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- EPA certifications Type I and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling are mandatory.
- CPO certification is preferred (willingness to obtain is required).
- All relevant certifications as mandated by State and Local regulations.
- A valid driver's license is necessary.
- A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience is required.
- This role involves participation in a rotating on-call schedule, necessitating availability during weekends, evenings, and mornings.
*This position offers a $2,500 Sign-On Bonus after 90 days of employment*
