About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Therapist to join our team at Mental Health Recovery Specialists. As a key member of our outpatient team, you will provide high-quality therapeutic services to individuals struggling with mental health conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide in-person and virtual psychotherapy, recovery coaching, and other therapeutic support services to clients.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address clients' unique needs and goals.
  • Collaborate with clients' care coordinators and other recovery specialists to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Conduct regular assessments and progress updates to inform treatment plans and ensure optimal client outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and effective care.
Requirements
  • Masters degree in a relevant field (e.g., social work, counseling, psychology).
  • Current licensure in the state of New York (e.g., LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, LPC, LCAT, LMSW, MHC-LP).
  • 2+ years of experience in mental health treatment, with expertise in modalities such as ERP, CBT, CPT, DBT, EMDR, and somatic therapies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple clients and responsibilities.
