We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Therapist to join our team at All About Kids. As a Behavioral Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to children and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Build and maintain positive, therapeutic relationships with clients and their families, supporting them in their journey toward achieving personal milestones.
- Oversee programming of child to maintain data in the program book and graphing.
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain child confidentiality.
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans focusing on development and social engagement.
- Conduct Functional Behavior Assessment (FBAs) and develop Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
- Work closely with patients and/or caregivers, clinical experts and other service providers as needed.
- Work with team to increase skill acquisition while decreasing interfering behaviors.
- Participate in ongoing professional development.
- New York State licensure for Behavioral Analyst.
- Current BCBA Certification.
- Previous completion of the 8-hour supervision course and previous supervision experience.
