This role is a full-time salaried position with a compensation range of $60,000 to $90,000, contingent upon prior experience.Benefits Include:

Role Summary:
As a Production Engineer at Replex, your primary focus will be on driving continuous enhancements in manufacturing processes, addressing operational challenges, and collaborating closely with the production team, Plant Manager, and Senior Maintenance Technician.
You will oversee engineering initiatives, cultivate vendor partnerships, manage capital expenditure projects, and provide training to operators. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in implementing initiatives such as the ERP system scheduled for 2025 and contribute to the strategic direction of Replex's Leadership Team. This position is designed for a hands-on generalist rather than a narrow specialist.Key Responsibilities Include:
- Developing necessary information for Replex to address new item inquiries, including performing 3-axis and 5-axis CNC programming using Solidworks and AlphaCAM software, and sourcing tool quotes from vendors.
- Managing Capital Expenditure Projects to ensure timely and budget-compliant completion.
- Leading and managing process improvement initiatives in manufacturing, with a strong emphasis on lean manufacturing principles, including Deming principles, SMED, 5S, one-piece flow, and POU storage.
- Providing leadership for the Replex Way quality management system.
Ensuring Replex operates in alignment with TRWM and maintains its ISO certification.
Addressing all environmental concerns, including EPA reporting & permitting, TSCA, RoHS, REACH, and others.
Supporting the Plant Manager by conducting root cause analyses of issues leading to customer credits or complaints and devising solutions to prevent recurrence.
Analyzing production and financial data to propose ideas for process improvement projects.Overseeing the maintenance and enhancement of Replex's facilities.
Leading initiatives focused on energy efficiency and sustainability.
Qualifications for Success:
- 5 to 10 years of experience in manufacturing maintenance and engineering.
- A solid understanding of lean manufacturing principles, including Deming principles, is essential.
- Strong project management capabilities and the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Proficient in learning all Replex processes to assist in troubleshooting and, if necessary, repairs.
- Competent in Excel spreadsheet management.
- Excellent communication skills, particularly in questioning during production process troubleshooting.
- Strong collaborative skills when working with Replex management and production team members.
- Highly organized and self-managed, capable of summarizing and reporting on the status of 20+ projects succinctly.
Financial Acumen:
Ability to comprehend manufacturing product costing, P&L, and make informed business decisions regarding profitable opportunities.
Capable of identifying and discontinuing unviable projects early.An engineering degree is advantageous but not a strict requirement.
