About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Module Equipment Engineer to join our dynamic team at TSMC Washington. As a key member of our equipment engineering team, you will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance equipment availability and drive equipment improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance equipment availability by gaining an in-depth understanding of tool design and operation.
  • Maintain and ensure equipment stability through continuous monitoring and proactive maintenance.
  • Drive equipment improvements by applying logical problem-solving skills and implementing innovative solutions.
  • Operate effectively in a fast-paced fab manufacturing environment that functions 24/7.

Requirements:

  • Highly motivated with a strong technical background and capabilities to sustain tool availability for flash memory, analog and logic products.
  • Minimum Bachelor degree in an engineering and scientific field such as Materials Science, Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry or Optics.
  • Basic technical understanding of IC processing equipment.
  • Exhibit good and open communication skills.
  • Able to work within cross-functional teams, including both internal and external customers.
  • Basic knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Design of Experiments (DOE) principles.
  • Hands-on participation in fab working environment and a strong sense of ownership.
