We are seeking highly skilled and compassionate individuals to join our team as Emergency Care Specialists.

This is a unique opportunity to provide high-quality emergency medical care, assess call situations, and utilize advanced medical equipment. As an Emergency Care Specialist, you will be responsible for driving the ambulance during 911 responses and acting as a team leader in various emergency scenarios.

Our team is committed to delivering compassionate service, engaging in community programs, and collaborating with healthcare and public safety personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess each call situation to determine the best course of action while working with progressive protocols.
  • Utilize advanced medical skills on medical equipment and procedures including defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen, and suction devices, and intravenous fluids.
  • Communicate with patients and their loved ones to provide information and assurance that care is being given.
  • Act as team leader and take responsibility for the scene and unit management as needed.
  • Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
  • Work collaboratively with allied health and public safety personnel.

Requirements:

  • A State of California Paramedic License
  • A High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • Ca Drivers' License
  • Ambulance Driver's License from DMV
  • Medical Examiner's Card from DMV
  • CPR Card (American Heart Association ONLY)
  • ACLS Card (American Heart Association ONLY)

Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $27.14 to $51.08 per hour (DOE) and comprehensive benefits package which includes medical, vision, dental, 401k, disability, FSA, HSA, EAP, vacation, and paid time off. This position is bonus eligible.
