Overview
We are a team at Rivercrest Senior Living that is dedicated to providing exceptional care and services to our residents. As a Qualified Medication Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by assisting with medication administration and documentation.
Compensation
The estimated annual salary for this position is $45,000-$60,000, depending on experience and qualifications. Additionally, we offer competitive benefits, including health, vision, and dental insurance, as well as a 401(k) match.
Job Description
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Preparing, administering, and documenting medications according to resident records and health campus policies
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date resident records regarding medication distribution, leisure activities, incidents, and observations
- Assisting with medication disposal and inventory management
- Collaborating with nursing and other departments to ensure seamless care delivery
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Certified License for QMA (Qualified Medication Aide) or CMA (Certified Medication Aide)
- Previous experience as a QMA or CMA in a long-term care or home care setting (desired but not required)
- A high school diploma or equivalent
