Job Title: Finance Director of Subsidiary

BYD is seeking a highly skilled Finance Director to lead the financial operations of our subsidiary. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, managing the budgeting process, and analyzing financial data to identify trends and opportunities.

Responsibilities:
  1. Financial Operations: Oversee the financial operations of the subsidiary, ensuring compliance with U.S. and international accounting standards.
  2. Budgeting and Planning: Manage the budgeting process, including setting financial goals and targets, and ensuring their alignment with the overall business strategy of the subsidiary.
  3. Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and provide strategic insights to support business decisions.
  4. Compliance and Risk Management: Coordinate with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements.
  5. Tax Planning and Compliance: Oversee tax planning and compliance for the subsidiary, minimizing tax liabilities while adhering to tax laws.
  6. Stakeholder Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, lenders, and regulatory agencies.
  7. Team Management: Mentor and develop the finance team, providing guidance and training to ensure the department's continued growth and success.
Requirements:
  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field required, with a master's degree preferred.
  2. Experience: Significant experience in financial management, preferably within a multinational or U.S.-based company.
  3. Skills: Expertise in financial accounting, budgeting, and financial analysis, with a strong understanding of financial reporting regulations.
  4. Tax Knowledge: Knowledge of tax planning and compliance in the U.S. is essential.
  5. Leadership: Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor and develop team members.
  6. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and make informed decisions.
  7. Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate financial information clearly and concisely to various stakeholders.
  8. Collaboration: Ability to work independently and take ownership of financial responsibilities, while also collaborating effectively with other departments.
  9. Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial software and technologies, including enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
  10. Language: Fluency in Mandarin and English is required.
