Speech Language Pathologist

Job Summary
The Speech Language Pathologist is responsible for evaluating, assessing, and treating patients within the Speech Therapy treatment program based on physician referrals or prescriptions.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide goal-directed treatment program planning and implementation for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and/or geriatric patient populations.
- Conduct complete diagnostic, assessment, and therapeutic procedures for patients with suspected or demonstrated speech, language, cognitive, communication deficits, swallowing impairments, and/or dysphasia.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Speech Pathology.
- Nevada State Board licensure to practice Speech Therapy.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
- One to two years of experience in a hospital or rehabilitation setting preferred.
- CFY will be considered.
- Training or practicum in areas of aphasia, apraxia, dysarthria, cognitive deficits, dysphasia, neurological disorders, cleft palate, and voice disorders is required.
- BLS certification.
