Speech Therapist

PACS Inc is seeking a skilled Speech Therapist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you will be responsible for evaluating patients, developing effective treatment plans, and providing high-quality speech and language services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients within 24 hours of physician referral and document any delays in the medical record.
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with referring physicians.
- Provide speech and language therapy services to patients, including supervision of Speech-Language Pathologist Assistants.
- Communicate effectively with healthcare team members to ensure seamless patient care.
- Participate in patient care conferences, utilization review meetings, and in-service training programs.
- Record evaluations, treatment notes, and progress reports in accordance with state and federal regulations.
- Provide education and training to patients, families, and nursing staff on maintenance programs and caregiver training.
- Participate in discharge planning and act as a clinical preceptor for affiliating Speech-Language Pathologists and students.
- Comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and facility policies.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
