Speech Therapist

At Sevita, we are committed to providing high-quality rehabilitation services to individuals with brain, spinal cord, and medically complex injuries, illnesses, and other challenges. We are seeking a skilled Speech Therapist to join our team.

The Speech Therapist will work with clients to assess and treat speech and language disorders, including articulation, voice, and fluency disorders. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Speech Therapy or Speech/Language Pathology and one year of experience as a Speech Therapist. Current state licensure/certification as a Speech Therapist is also required.

• Assess and evaluate clients' speech and language skills, development, articulation ability, and voice and fluency disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to address clients' speech and language needs.
• Provide effective evaluations, documentation, and communication of medical information to clients, family members, and primary caregivers.
• Coordinate therapy modifications to the client's plan of care with the Director of Clinical Services and client's physician.
• Identify and develop intervention strategies to address clients' speech and language disorders.
• Review and document comprehensive evaluation reports to summarize tests utilized, results of test(s), and diagnosis of speech/hearing disorders.
• Report and record assessments, evaluations, therapy interventions, and patient changes according to physician orders and Sevita's policies.

• Master's degree in Speech Therapy or Speech/Language Pathology.
• One year of experience as a Speech Therapist.
• Current state licensure/certification as a Speech Therapist.
• Ability to travel as needed.
• Medium work, exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
