Audiovisual Event Support Specialist

Overview: The Audiovisual Event Support Specialist is tasked with delivering comprehensive audiovisual assistance for a diverse range of events, such as corporate gatherings, training workshops, conferences, and social functions. This position entails the setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of multimedia systems to guarantee flawless event delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, operate, and disassemble audiovisual equipment as required for various events.
  • Respond swiftly to service inquiries and ensure high-quality customer support.
  • Oversee events and provide assistance to clients throughout the duration.
  • Work collaboratively with sales and other departments to implement effective Event Technology solutions.
  • Foster positive relationships with clients and venue staff through effective communication.
  • Promote additional services and make prompt decisions to address client concerns efficiently.
  • Leverage expertise in advanced Event Technology tools and software.
  • Manage the inventory of audiovisual equipment, ensuring all items are functional.
  • Participate in ongoing improvement initiatives to enhance the client experience.

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of experience in audiovisual technology.
  • Familiarity with audiovisual systems; certifications in AV are advantageous.
  • Strong technical proficiency with sound, lighting, projectors, and video systems.
  • Skilled in Event Technology software for presentations and live streaming.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking capabilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to perform well under pressure in a dynamic environment.
  • Client-focused mindset with a professional attitude.
  • Willingness to work weekends and holidays as necessary.
  • Robust problem-solving abilities and a proactive work approach.

Work Environment:

  • Onsite at various event venues with flexible hours and schedules.
