Job Summary:

The Leaguers Inc is seeking a highly skilled Prenatal Educator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering prenatal and postpartum education and home-based school-readiness services on a weekly basis.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Deliver prenatal and postpartum education and home-based school-readiness services to enhance knowledge of maternal and child development.
  • Work with families to provide infant developmental screenings and health services.
  • Provide social services including referrals, advocacy and crisis intervention, parent involvement, and biweekly socializations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree or Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education or health services and 1+ years prenatal experience OR High school diploma with Doula or Mid Wife certification with a minimum of five years of pregnant services and/or infant/toddler experience.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish skills are highly desirable.
  • Valid New Jersey Driver's License and proof of insurance required.
Compensation:
  • A competitive salary of $67,000 - $77,000 per annum based on experience.
  • A 12-month contract with full benefits, a 403b retirement plan, sick and personal days, plus winter and spring recesses.
