Position Overview: The Audio-Visual Equipment Specialist, Inventory Supervisor is responsible for the precise and timely setup, operation, and dismantling of Audio/Visual and vMix equipment for both in-person and virtual event productions, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

Employment Type: This is a full-time, hourly role. The primary work environments include a warehouse setting and various event locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate effectively with all service teams within metroConnections.
  • Engage in all relevant aspects of metroConnections as assigned.
  • Work in the warehouse, virtual studio, and on-site at events as scheduled.
  • Oversee responsibilities related to company-owned or rented A/V and vMix equipment, including maintenance and updates.
  • Support or lead the setup and teardown of A/V and vMix equipment according to event specifications.
  • Operate A/V and vMix equipment during live and virtual productions, following direction from the show caller.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve equipment and software issues promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain excellent service and foster positive relationships with coworkers and clients through effective communication.
  • Assume additional on-site roles during events as directed.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Preferred 2+ years of customer service or hospitality experience.
  • Preferred 2+ years of audio/visual experience.
  • Preferred 2+ years of broadcast/streaming experience.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Strong technical skills and the ability to learn and teach new techniques collaboratively.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to take direction and work independently.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask efficiently.
  • Capability to manage stress and adapt to change while maintaining composure.
  • Positive attitude and ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
  • Reliable transportation access.
  • Willingness to work evenings and weekends and travel for extended periods.

Requirements: DOT Certification (arranged and paid by metroConnections) and a DOT physical will be required.
