As a Clinical Lead, you will play a key role in the delivery of quality dermatological services, working closely with our management team to prioritize MA function needs and support all practice locations.

Responsibilities:

* Work alongside the management team to prioritize MA function needs, including staffing vacancies, call-offs, and planned leaves of absence.
* Transcribe for providers during exams and assist with biopsies and select surgical procedures.
* Educate patients on treatment plans and complete prior authorizations for prescriptions, biologics, and procedures.
* Stock rooms with necessary supplies and report biopsy, culture, and/or lab results to patients via phone if directed by provider.
* Sanitize all work areas throughout the day and after each patient.
* Send patient visit notes to referring provider/PCP.

Training Functions:

* Operate as a clinical trainer to support all clinic operations with hands-on onboarding support, EMR training, and implementation of training plans.
* Support competency assessment process and clinical training can be monitored remotely, in person, and in a staff shadowing/mentoring role.

Administrative Functions:

* Run reports congruent with assessing training needs, competencies, and onboarding for staff.
* Answer incoming calls when not in a room with a provider and assist office staff with front-end tasks if needed.
* Support in training Medical Assistant and Front Desk new hires for all practice locations.

Requirements:

* High School Diploma required
* Must have certification from a Medical Assistant Program
* 3-5 years of relevant medical/surgical practice experience
* Professional attitude and appearance
* Solid written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
* Excellent organizational skills
* Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
* Customer service attitude
* Experience with practice management software (ie EMA) and Microsoft Office Word and Excel

Physical Requirements:

* Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
* Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds at times.
* Must be able to travel to different locations daily and at the last minute.
